"I had a good experience with my purchase of a free standing vented fire place dealing with Village S&F. If you appreciate knowledge and know how this is the place to go. Great selection along with top notch service. Living near the ocean a gas fireplace is a necessary luxury I am so glad I went ahead with this purchase. Also, if you need a connection to the main gas line on the street as I did, Mike's connections with the National Grid will assure a short wait time for gas service to begin."

"With a showroom that shows you exactly what your fireplace is going to look like, we had lots of options to choose from. Mike and Rose worked with us as we tried to figure out what the best solution for our home was (stove vs insert, vented vs ventless). We ended up going with a floor model insert from the showroom. Since it was already put together, it was installed within the week! A great experience, can't recommend them enough."

"Great company. A decade ago, Rose sold me a fireplace gas insert and Mike installed it. It's been perfect all this time. I own another gas insert in my garage. It needed repair. It's not a brand that Village Stove sells, but Rose was able to quickly effectuate obtaining a tech to address the problem. The tech came, and within 36 hours, a new part was installed. "Another Very Happy Customer! After years of building wood fires in our fireplace, we decided to investigate the possibility of installing a gas log. We didn’t expect heat from it, but expected the joy of watching the flames and the quick on/off function. Mike showed us a vent-free gas log that will work in our fireplace with the damper closed. And to my amazement, considerable heat is liberated into the room. It generates more heat than our old wood fires! Mike had the unit in stock. We were there on a Saturday and, luckily, the log set was installed the following Tuesday! Inspections by the plumbing inspector and the fire department took a few days, but we are now cozily sitting in front of the instant on/off gas fireplace."

"Rise and Mike spent much time with us in the showroom demonstrating the features of the fireplaces versus the ventless logs. We decided on the ventless logs for our 1825 Cape style house as they look more in keeping with the age of the house. AJ did a terrific job installing two sets of logs, not an easy task given our basement is mostly crawl spaces! He was highly professional, polite and knew exactly how to do the installation in the most efficient way. He made sure we understood how the units work and had us demonstrate turning them off and on to be sure we were comfortable with them. Can’t recommend Village Fireplace enough!"

And I do my shopping so I was thrilled. It looks great and I am very excited not to be worrying about hauling wood and I was never good about getting a fire going.
